Description
A very collectable Victorian gentlemans leather cigar case, leather is still supple has a lovely aged colour and patina, fully maker marked and an early registation date of 22 May 1844, the inner sleeve has a lighter colour to the leather due to bieng covered by the outer sleeve, the cigar keeper inside the inner case still has a good spring, on the top of the inner sleeve it has its original match striker all intact with its original screws, all the stiching on the case is good, on the front of the outer sleeve it appears to have something missing not sure what but it looks to have been gone for a long time due to the colour of the leather, a really nice collectors item, case measures 4 3/4″ long and 2 1/2″ wide.
