A rare early British W.D. war department marked Jack / clasp knife. The horn handles are in fair condition for their age and have related wear one side the end is lifting away but is still tight to the frame, both sides have been marked, the original rivets are all there and are not slack, lanyard ring is original has its brass rivet the ring is a little out of shape but for a knife of this age it is not uncommon. The spike has a good spring there are blemishes to the metal but no rusting, the blade is in good order 3 3/4″ long it has light wear and blemishes spring is good, blade is marked Harrison & Co & Hows Sheffield and on the other side is the W.D. and the broad arrow issue mark there is a 4 stamped on there as well all stamps are poorly stamped, a really quite rare early jack knife in fair condition for its age, hard to find an early horn handled type like this, a great collectors item.
